Calculators

Run the numbers, then talk them through.

Simple, private calculators built on 2026 Canadian rules. Nothing you enter leaves your device unless you ask us to send you the results.

How much will you need to retire?

Tell us the life you want in retirement. We will estimate the savings it takes, what CPP and OAS cover, and whether your plan gets you there.

Your numbers

Planning into your 90s helps make sure you do not outlive your savings.

Before tax, in today's dollars. Many people aim for 60% to 70% of their working income.

Starts at an average new CPP pension ($858/month) plus full OAS ($763/month). Add any workplace pension.

Results are in today's dollars, assuming 2.1% inflation.

Your savings through retirement

All amounts are in today's dollars. CPP and OAS are assumed to start at 65 and rise with inflation. Withdrawals are shown before tax. OAS is reduced at higher retirement incomes, and CPP can start between 60 and 70; timing these well can add up to a lot.
